Trump finally makes his "pivot" to the general election:
Trump: 'No more Mr. Nice Guy’

Donald Trump says he is done being nice.

“I’m taking the gloves off. Take the gloves off. Right?” Trump said Friday during a rally in Colorado, his first since the end of Hillary Clinton's Democratic National Convention. “Taking the gloves off! Just remember this: Trump is gonna be no more Mr. Nice Guy.”

“Tell Hillary I’m not gonna be nice anymore,” he said. “I’ve been very nice to her. So you ready? Actually, some of the folks I defeated they probably would say, ‘Boy, he was not very nice.’”

“They keep screaming. And you know what I do?” Trump asked. “I’ve been nice. But after watching that performance last night — such lies — I don’t have to be so nice anymore.”

The Republican presidential nominee also blasted his “negligent” rival Clinton and accused her of lying to the FBI during its investigation into her use of a private email while leading the State Department, sparking chants of “lock her up!”

“I’ve been saying let’s just beat her on Nov. 8, but you know what? You know what?” Trump told the crowd. “I’m starting to agree with you, I’ll tell you. Sorry to say.”

The real estate mogul said he found it interesting that “every time I mention her, everyone screams 'lock her up, lock her up, lock her up.'”

Trump's bare-knuckle promise came in a speech in which he decried an ad that invoked his infamous Fox News debate clash with Megyn Kelly and showed him mocking a disabled reporter.

“I didn’t mock the disabled, number one. Number two, with Megyn, all I did, was I wanted to get back on subject,” he explained.

Trump insisted that he would never mock anyone with a disability, citing the amount of money he spends to make his buildings wheelchair accessible as proof. “Number one, I have a good heart,” he said. “Number two, I’m a smart person, OK?”

And with Kelly, he said, he was trying to get back on topic and only referred to her nose and ears when he suggested there was blood coming out of her "whatever."

“It’s really sad,” Trump said of the ad. “They know it’s not true. They do it anyway. I had in mind nose, but it could have even been ears. I didn’t think of the other alternative.”

[Once again Trump shows how he is the Clinton campaign's greatest weapon; he just can't help bringing up the very things that damage him and reminding people about them...]

Trump: Clinton should have congratulated me for making history

The GOP nominee requested recognition for 'having done something that nobody has ever done in the history of politics in this nation.'

Donald Trump said Friday that it would "have been cool" had Hillary Clinton congratulated him for doing something in the presidential election that nobody has ever done before.

“I was curious to see whether she’d do a class act and not mention my name,” the Republican nominee said at a rally with supporters in Colorado. “Or mention it with respect, like, say, ‘I’d like to congratulate my Republican opponent for having done something that nobody has ever done in the history of politics in this nation.’”

In the 2016 election, Trump beat a large field of 16 GOP candidates to clinch the nomination.

“See, I thought she might do something like that. I thought she'd give me a big fat beautiful congratulations. If she did that, would that have been cool? Would that have been great?,” Trump said.

Clinton spoke Thursday night after becoming the first woman in U.S. history to win a major party's presidential nomination.

Well, if Hillary won't congratulate Trump, then I will.

Congratulations, Donald, for having done something never before done in the history of politics in this nation — running a mystery campaign, devoid of substance; a campaign full of hate, egotism, and catchphrases; a campaign that merely entices the voters to figuratively enter the largest Trump casino in the world where we all just pays our money and takes our chances but are assured that the payoff "will be HUUUGE!" ... and still fooling enough voters to win the nomination of a major political party.

I just ran across a statistical analysis that says the lady will win.

Donald Trump--3 syllables. Hillary Clinton--5 syllables. The name with more syllables always wins.

Wouldn't put it past him to legally change his name to something like "Donald John Trump, the Great and Powerful" just to get more syllables.
But in the end, it's all the same.  Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

Come on, Mr Econoline, give the man a break. He is still bleeding from the vicious attack at the hands of a Muslim during the Dems convention. It is entirely possible Kim and Daniel are brother and sister, sharing the same father.

I know it was a vicious attack, because the Donald said it was. And besides The Donald listed all the many sacrifices he has made, creating all those jobs and everything. No wonder he has not had time to read the constitution. I am sure The Donald will get around to reading it sometime after November when he will have more time. Or perhaps some of the many good people he has around him can explain it to him then. And they can also explain to him the nuances of crime statistics, that when there are less crimes reported, that does not mean crime is rising.
