Tossed a baby out of one of his rallies today. Is he *trying* to lose? And submitted a false doctor's report (that has to be a federal crime, I'd bet several on counts).

Still taking up waaaaayyyyyyy to much oxygen in the press, however.

Well that's understandable...

The way The Donald looks at it, there's only room for one cry baby at his rallies....

He didn't want the competition...

No no, that's a good thing. The more the focus stays on Trump and just how awful he is, the better.

Will Trump supporters be like white southerners? Who after the civil rights movement lied and said they were never against Negros voting? (And after the civil war lied and said that Lee was a "noble southern gentleman" instead of the brutal slave owner he actually was).

What do you think?

Going after Ryan and McCain (again): http://www.politico.com/story/2016/08/t ... nts-226581
Donald Trump is “not quite there yet” when it comes to endorsing Paul Ryan, the Republican presidential nominee said Tuesday, echoing the House speaker’s rhetoric before he ultimately endorsed Trump as the GOP nominee earlier this year.
In an interview with The Washington Post on Tuesday, Trump refused to endorse Ryan, who faces a primary challenge against Paul Nehlen in Wisconsin next Tuesday, and Arizona Sen. John McCain.
“I like Paul, but these are horrible times for our country,” Trump told the Post. “We need very strong leadership. We need very, very strong leadership. And I’m just not quite there yet. I’m not quite there yet.”
Trump’s snub of the Wisconsin Republican — he told the Post that Ryan sought his endorsement —comes a day after he thanked Nehlen via Twitter, blasting out the lesser-known candidate’s handle to his 10.5 million followers.
“Thanks to @pnehlen for your kind words, very much appreciated,” Trump tweeted Monday.
Ryan, who has been critical of Trump throughout his campaign, shied away from condemning him by name after he attacked a Gold Star family in response to remarks Khizr Khan made last week at the Democratic National Convention.
Trump's non-endorsement mimicked the language that Ryan used when he declined to back Trump even after he had vanquished the last of his Republican rivals. “I’m not there right now,” the speaker told CNN in May. A month later, though, Ryan got on board.
Trump said he’s “never been there” on backing McCain “because I’ve always felt that he should have done a much better job for the vets.”
“So I’ve always had a difficult time with John for that reason, because our vets are not being treated properly,” Trump said. “They’re not being treated fairly.”
The real estate mogul also attacked Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) for not supporting his campaign.
“I don’t know Kelly Ayotte. I know she’s given me no support — zero support — and yet I’m leading her in the polls,” Trump said. “I’m doing very well in New Hampshire. We need loyal people in this country. We need fighters in this country. We don’t need weak people. We have enough of them."

  • Trump today: I will not support Paul Ryan or John McCain in their reelection bids.

Paul Ryan: He doesn't mean it. He can't help himself. I got this black eye and these bruises from falling on the ... stairs. I'm so clumsy. I support him for President. I love him.

John McCain: He's under a lot of stress. It'll be different when the race is over. Once he has control of the nuclear weapons everything will go back to normal. You'll see. I still support him for president. I can't leave him now, he needs me.

TRUMP IS SERIOUS!!!!!

Post by RayThom »

As far as Trumpy's baby comments I recognized them for what they were, heavy sarcasm. I, for one, who regularly uses this literary and rhetorical device, can give him a pass on it. He's still a fucking douche-bag.

Drumpf does, however, give us clean & sober living people a bad name. He should start drinking and drugging... at least he would have an excuse for his sick behavior and lack of humanity.

Here's his doctor's exceptional and extraordinary report:

This just keeps getting better and betterer:
Ally of Trump staffer Paul Manafort: The staff is 'suicidal,' he's mailing it in

John Harwood | @johnjharwood

Donald Trump's behavior in recent days, from criticizing the parents of a fallen American soldier to declining to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan, has strained the nerves of his campaign staff as he falls behind in the polls.

I exchanged messages Tuesday evening with a longtime ally of Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, whom I asked about who was calling the shots in the campaign. The response indicated that Manafort, a veteran of Republican politics brought in this spring for the transition from primaries to the general election, has lost control over his candidate.

"Manafort not challenging (Trump) anymore," Manafort's ally wrote. "Mailing it in. Staff suicidal."

After I tweeted those remarks, Trump campaign spokesman Jason Miller wrote to me, "The idea that Paul Manafort's mailing it in is completely erroneous. Our campaign just finished up our strongest month of fundraising to date, we're adding talented and experienced staffers on a daily basis, and Mr. Trump's turning out bigger, more enthusiastic crowds than Hillary Clinton ever could."

Miller also sent a tweet quoting a conservative writer who called me "unabashedly liberal and very biased against conservatives." Miller tweeted a critical article about my role as moderator in last fall's CNBC debate, in which I asked Trump if he were running "a comic-book version" of a presidential campaign.

Strains between candidates and their staffs are commonplace in stressful moments of presidential campaigns. But Trump's campaign is unusual for the candidate's singular control over its daily message, which thwarts attempts at traditional discipline.

Trump's freewheeling style won him the Republican nomination over a crowded field of rivals. But the general election environment, and target audience, is far different.

The bombastic billionaire appeared to recognize that by jettisoning his first campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, now a commentator on CNN. Manafort's experience in national politics had reassured Republican veterans that a fall Trump campaign would more closely resemble the norms of recent presidential campaigns

Yet the recent Republican convention, marred by controversy and a high-profile speech in which primary rival Ted Cruz declined to endorse the nominee, was not up to recent Republican standards. And Trump's extended skirmishing with the parents of fallen U.S. soldier Capt. Humayun Khan, among other controversies, has caused increasing numbers of Republicans to criticize the party's candidate.

Source.

NBC National Correspondent Pete Alexander quotes another Trump campaign source as saying "It's all true" & "way worse than people realize," while CNN is reporting that "some Trump campaign staff are frustrated w/ candidate lately, 'feel like they are wasting their time.'"

Hang in there, kids! Only 97 days to go!

Fox News Poll: Clinton leads Trump by 10 points, both seen as flawed

Sixty-one percent of voters think Hillary Clinton is dishonest, yet she’s opened up a big lead over Donald Trump in the latest Fox News Poll.

Here’s why: majorities think Clinton is nevertheless qualified to be president, and has the temperament and knowledge to serve effectively. It’s the opposite for Trump: over half feel he is not qualified, and lacks the temperament or knowledge to lead the country. And his 62 percent dishonesty rating tops hers.

After the conventions, the Clinton-Kaine ticket leads the Trump-Pence ticket by 10 points (49-39 percent) in the race for the White House. Clinton’s advantage is outside the poll’s margin of error. A month ago, Clinton was up by six points (44-38 percent, June 26-28).

This is the first time the Fox News Poll included running mates. Trump announced his vice presidential pick of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence July 15. Clinton told supporters she’d picked Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine July 22.

Since last month, Clinton’s position is improved with most groups, as she gained ground among men, women, whites, Democrats, young voters, and seniors.

The Democrat is winning among the so-called “Obama coalition,” the key voting blocs that secured his re-election. Clinton is favored among women by 23 points (57-34 percent), blacks by 83 (87-4 percent), Hispanics by 48 (68-20 percent), and voters under 30 by 18 (49-31 percent).

Those numbers rival Barack Obama’s performance among those groups against Mitt Romney in 2012, when he won among women by 11 points (55-44 percent), blacks by 87 (93-6 percent), Hispanics by 44 (71-27 percent), and voters under 30 by 23 (60-37 percent).

Trump is the choice among whites by 10 points (49-39 percent), men by 5 (45-40 percent), white evangelical Christians by 50 (69-19 percent), and whites without a college degree by 16 (52-36 percent).

Right now he’s underperforming his 2012 counterpart. Romney won whites by 20 points (59-39 percent), men by 7 (52-45 percent), white evangelicals by 57 (78-21 percent), and whites without a degree by 26 (62-36 percent).

Trump bests Clinton among veterans by 53-39 percent.

Twelve percent of Republicans back Clinton. That’s more than double the number of Democrats supporting Trump (five percent). And while Clinton garners more support among Democrats (87 percent) than Trump does among Republicans (78 percent), she trails among independents. They go for the Republican by 41-33 percent. In 2012, independents went for Romney by 50-45 percent.

More Clinton supporters say their vote is for her rather than against Trump (49-47 percent). Among Trump supporters, a majority says their vote is better described as being against Clinton (52 percent), while less than half are voting because they like him (44 percent).

When Libertarians Gary Johnson and Bill Weld are included in the hypothetical vote, they receive 12 percent, while Clinton takes 44 percent to Trump’s 35 percent. They siphon off support about equally from both the Democratic and GOP tickets.

Qualified to be president? Sixty-five percent say Clinton is vs. 43 percent Trump. Fifty-eight percent feel he isn’t qualified, including 45 percent who say “not at all.”

On temperament, 64 percent say Clinton has it. Just 37 percent say Trump does. And 72 percent think Clinton has the knowledge to serve effectively, while 40 percent say the same for Trump.

How long will that last if Trump's campaign keeps accusing Gold Star parents of being members of the Muslim Brotherhood?

How long will it last? At least till Nov 8. Most veterans are within his core supporters--young, white male, less than average education.

My neighbor, the Viet Nam vet, has Trump flags, signs and banners hung up outside his house.
The Trump flag is higher on the pole than his POW/MIA flag. (Ol' Glory is still at the top, as it should be)
