The following was created by David M. Willis, who currently draws a webcomic called "Dumbing of Age" (the link is to the very first strip in the comic in case you like it and want to read it from the beginning).  The three characters in these panels are Hank and Carol Brown and their daughter, Joyce.  It is helpful to know the following:
The Browns are fundamental Christians (NOT Catholics!), and they will be home-schooling their daughter Joyce.
In the first panel (dated 2004) Joyce is approximately six years old; she is supposed to be around ten years old in the '2008' strip, and the '2016' strip shows her as she is in the comic strip — an eighteen-year-old freshman at Indiana University in Bloomington.

And yes, that's Joyce's mother holding the poster in the final panel.  Now compare what you know about Trump to the description of the Anti-Christ in the first panel.
Kinda shakes you up a bit, huh?

TRUMP IS SERIOUS!!!!!

Post by RayThom »

After over eight years of "meet and greets" with the American electorate Michelle knows how to read the mood of the people, and the pulse of Washington DC. She has the intelligence and temperament to be in the higher echelons of power. I'm sure this is hardly the last we'll be hearing from her.

I'd vote for her.

Best presidential couples of all time:

John and Abigail Adams
FDR and Eleanor
Jimmy and Roselyn Carter (maybe, Roselyn's greater public accomplishments came later in the Carter Institute).
Barack and Michelle Obama

Lucy Mercer

Hired as a secretary by Eleanor Roosevelt, Mercer ended up having an affair with Roosevelt's husband. Eleanor discovered love letters between Franklin D. Roosevelt and Mercer in 1918, when the presidency was just a distant ambition for her husband. Fearing for his political life, Franklin convinced Eleanor to stay married, promising he would avoid seeing Mercer again and that the two would sleep in separate beds.

Post-affair: Franklin didn't keep his promise. With help from the Roosevelts' daughter Anna, he continued to rendezvous with Mercer, and she was in Warm Springs, Ga., the day Franklin died. (Eleanor was conspicuously absent.) Mercer died in South Carolina in 1948.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Donald Trump; maligned, heroic, and selfless:
Trump: The Suffering Messiah Of The Alt-Right

WASHINGTON ― Like all leaders who believe they embody their nation, Donald Trump wants you to know that he is suffering ― that he is happy to suffer ― for the good of the common folk. He will bleed to save them, you, us, from corruption and doom.

Echoing the histrionic cries of ego-driven autocrats through the ages, from Julius Caesar to the Fascists of 20th-century Europe, Trump declared on Thursday during a speech in West Palm Beach, Florida, that a criminal conspiracy was out to destroy him.

Dismissing each and every allegation of sexual misconduct against him as a lie, Trump portrayed himself as a bloodied but unbowed victim of malevolent forces ― proponents of “radical globalization” ― who hate America and its culture.

An unholy alliance of “international banks,” the New York media (especially The New York Times) and a money- and power-mad “Clinton machine” had connived to open a flood of stories about him to divert attention, he said.

“They knew they would throw every lie they could at me,” he said. “They knew they would stop at nothing.”

“I never knew it would be this vile, that it would be this bad, that it would be this vicious,” he added. [You didn't know you'd behave the way you have?]

But he, Donald Trump, was ready to sacrifice for the good of the country, for all the struggling working people, for all the hardworking African-Americans and Hispanics. He was ready to save the American economy from foreigners, to prevent the collapse of American culture, to ― all together, now ― Make America Great Again.

“I take all the slings and arrows gladly for you,” he said, for the sake of “our great civilization.”

Indeed, Trump said, if he doesn’t win in November, America as we know it will cease to exist.

“This is a struggle for the survival of our nation, believe me,” he said. “And this will be our last chance to save it.”

Despite the apocalyptic stakes, though, Trump will have you know that he could have sat this one out.

“I didn’t need to do this, folks,” he said, toward the end of his telepromptered address. “I could have enjoyed the fruits and benefits of years of successful business deals and businesses ... I’m doing it because this country has given me so much, and I feel so strongly that it’s my turn to give back to the country that I love.”

Friends and advisers had told Trump that this campaign “would be a journey to hell,” he said. But he saw it instead as a “journey to heaven” ― a chance for him to abandon his “former life” as an “insider” and lay bare the evils of the club he once belonged to.

The movement he’d started, he said, was something “the likes of which we have never in history in this country seen before,” a movement dedicated to defending at all costs our “sovereignty” and national identity from insidious attacks led by the Clintons.

Trump is wrong, of course. In America, populist antipathy toward global trade is as old as the country itself, and pitchfork-wielding characters have railed against the political establishment since King George III.

But in another respect, Trump is right. His hysterical language in West Palm Beach sounded like something both new and foreign.

His screed about a conspiracy of international banks, radical globalists and New York media had all the hallmarks of a neo-Nazi rally in Germany or Hungary. And his self-pitying talk of the “journey to hell,” his boasts about his willingness to suffer, sounded like a very un-American version of messianic theology.

No doubt, the Clintons represent a political establishment of sorts. And Trump has put a light on some serious issues, from trade to immigration to terrorism. The legalistic hairsplitting and hyperpolitical maneuverings of Hillary Clinton may not be criminal, but they hardly exemplify the best of Washington.

But Trump’s speech on Thursday wasn’t really about any of that. It wasn’t really about the last stand of American civilization. It was about him, as it so often is. To save himself, Trump is willing to tell everyone else he’s their savior.

Rhetorically and politically, it seems, Trump is focusing inward, on the “alt-right” supporters whom he has drawn into the conversation from the radical, racist and anti-Semitic swamps of the internet.

“It’s all personality-driven,” said historian Craig Shirley, a leading biographer of Ronald Reagan. “We’re two countries speaking two different languages.”

“I don’t know who can put the Republican Party back together in the future,” Shirley said. “It’s every man for himself right now.”

Especially Donald Trump.

Here's another yooge surprise:
NYC Official: No Evidence Trump Gave $10K to 9/11 Fund

New York City's comptroller has found no evidence that Donald Trump gave $10,000 to a fund for 9/11 victims after the terror attack, and concluded that the GOP nominee "may have lied" about making a donation.

The office of Comptroller Scott Stringer conducted a review of donation records to the Twin Towers Fund and the New York City Public/Private Initiatives, Inc., to see if Trump had donated after the 9/11 attacks.

"Contrary to Donald Trump's claims, the Comptroller's Office found no evidence of a donation by Mr. Trump in the year following the attacks," according to an "Information Sheet on 9/11 Donation Review" provided to NBC News on Friday that summarizes the office's findings.

"As first reported by the New York Daily News, Donald Trump may have lied about donations given to the Twin Towers Fund in support of 9/11 victims and first responders. While he claimed to make a $10,000 donation to that fund, the Comptroller's review in response to Freedom of Information Law requests shows that no donation was made within a nearly 12-month window immediately following the tragedy," the information sheet quoted Stringer as saying.

Stringer said it was still possible that Trump made contributions at a later date, and if so he should come forward and show proof.

The Daily News said that in the weeks after the attacks, Trump pledged $10,000 to the Twin Towers Fund as part of a charity effort that radio host Howard Stern was pushing. It linked to an Oct. 10, 2001 interview on Howard Stern's radio show, in which Stern and co-host Robin Quivers thanked him for the donation.

Said Quivers, "He gave us $10,000, that was beautiful."

"Yes he did, to our fund," Stern replied, before asking Trump about other topics. Trump didn't say anything in response to Stern or Quivers, or dispute that he'd made such a pledge.

At the time, Stern was directing people to make out checks to the NYC Public/Private Initiatives, using the "Howard Stern Relief Fund" as a marketing hook, as the website for the charity efforts shows, according to the Daily News. The New York Post reported on Sept. 26, 2001 that Trump, "who often calls in to Stern's show, kicked in $10,000."

The night before his Howard Stern appearance, Trump and then fiancé Melania Knauss had attended a Carnegie Hall benefit for the Twin Towers fund and the New York Police and Fire Widows and Children's Benefit Fund. Tickets for the "Stand Up For New York" event ranged from $100 to $2500. Attendees, including former President Bill Clinton, were told they could also make checks out to the Twin Towers fund.

The Twin Towers Fund and the Public/Private Initiatives were created in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks to raise money to support families of victims, first responders, and first responders' families. The comptroller's audit of the Twin Towers Fund covered from September 12, 2001 to August 31, 2002. The audit of the New York City Public/Private Initiatives, Inc. covered September 12, 2001 - June 30, 2002.

Comptroller's Office Press Secretary Tyrone Stevens told NBC News on Friday that the office manually reviewed approximately 1,500 pages of donor records, which contained the names of more than 110,000 individuals and entities that were collected as part of the audits.

Stevens told NBC News it was highly unlikely that the review missed any money given by Trump or one of his entities, since virtually all of the donations came in the months following the attacks, and included identifying information about the donors. "We just don't see a donation from any Trump entity—certainly there's nothing that we can confirm from the time period covered by the audit," Stevens said.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

I'm kind of puzzled by this whole "the election is rigged" thing coming from Drumpf...

I understand that his ego requires that when he loses he be able to have something to blame it on rather than his own awful self, but I see a big potential for backfire here...

Supposedly he's trying to suppress the voter turnout for Hillary, but what group of voters are most likely to believe the claim that the election is rigged?

The paranoid conspiracy types...

In other words, Trump voters...

ATTENTION TRUMPANZEES!:

As your Fearless Leader has declared, the election is rigged...

Therefore there is no point in your bothering to go out and vote; the election is going to be stolen from you anyway....

Just stay home, crack a cold one and tune in a Mountain Monsters marathon...

After Trump loses the election, will there be riots? Will there be an "Dumbshits Lives Matter" movement?

Does Trump really have no clue to the kind of problems he can cause (or is causing) with his accusations?

I guess that's a dumb question. I'm sure he doesn't. He only thinks about himself.

Never mind.
