TRUMP IS SERIOUS!!!!!
I'm pretty sure that Lord Dampnut is not the sharpest bulb in the drawer... if you get my drift.
Whether it be standing up or feet first I'll give him less than two years.

Kushner needs SCUBA lessons.
The president's closest advisor, now in the mid-East with military advisors, is following his father-in-law's business model.
Kushner's flagship enterprise, 666 Fifith Avenue, is underwater. he can't even cover interest payments on the mortgage and has not been able to for several years. The interest only mortgage comes due in less than two years. He paid $1200 a square foot for it in 2007. It has never covered the nut. He has sold off pieces of it, including the retail space fronting Fifth Avenue. The building is a white elephant with too many vacancies. He wants to tear it down and build a much bigger 'luxury' tower. That would mean he has to put together a consortium and buy back all the pieces he sold off. But the foreign investment in luxury space in NYC is going away. The latest possibility was a package from Chinese investors but that has evaporated.

Of course all this reflects no conflict of interest with the Trump family business and our president.

But I am 100% confident that in Trump's case, this is not a choice I will have to make.

I have absolutely no idea who said that, but whoever it was should be really embarrassed for getting it so wrongMajGenl.Meade wrote:Just for laffs....

Tell you what .... if I were an airport manager and Trump were landing at my field, I'd send him out a rope ladder.
And then cross my fingers and hope that he manages to hang himself in it trying to deplane.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
Re: trump is serious!!!!!
he just this very moment walked down the ramp..., it looked wet too!
it was live. you just missed it

TRUMP IS SERIOUS
Well, here's Xi's arrival in Florida. Point out the 'grey', wet carpeting for me. Even SCROTUS knows it would not be proper diplomatic protocol to embarrass the Chinese leader as you claim he did.wesw wrote:he just this very moment walked down the ramp..., it looked wet too!

Steps were metal, no carpet on them.
But there was certainly a red carpet rolled out at the bottom, with a military honor guard, and the SecState there in person, with his wife, to greet Xi and his wife.
Yeah, totally dissed.

Re: trump is serious!!!!!
I guess we can expect another very spectacular terrorist event here in America. This morning the president gave an interview broadcast on Fox tv. From the transcript:
BARTIROMO: Mr. President, just a final question for you.
In the last weeks of the Obama presidency, he changed all the rules in terms of the intelligence agencies, allowing them to share raw data.
TRUMP: Terrible.
BARTIROMO: Why do you think he did this?
TRUMP: Well, I'm going to let you figure that one out. But it's so obvious. When you look at Susan Rice and what's going on, and so many people are coming up to me and apologizing now. They're saying you know, you were right when you said that.
Perhaps I didn't know how right I was, because nobody knew the extent of it. (INAUDIBLE)...
Anybody remember Condi Rice explaining over and over again that the government 'did not have actionable intelligence' about Nine Eleven.
Mostly because the various intelligence services did not share information. In the future that was going to change. I guess that sharing is to cease under this POTUS.

Matt Ball has a book review on Yahoo of a campaign tell-all for Hillary "Shattered" by Allen & Parnes
"No, my problem is with the entire genre of contemporary campaign books, which don’t illuminate the soullessness of our political culture so much as they reflect it.
You can’t really treat presidential politics as a form of shallow entertainment and then claim to be shocked when a shallow entertainer wins the presidency."
I read this after coming away from breakfast with CNN. It was a promo for a program they are running tonight about pop music during the American Civil Right movement.
CNN. This is news? When ALL news media seek bigger audiences and thus more money by becoming entertainments, why is it a surprise to anyone that the 'average' voter makes their choice on uninformed trivialities?
For a long time sports reporters were expected to be publicity agents for the local teams. Objective reporting? The NY Times does not even run box scores now. Now ALL reporters are just doing what sports reporters have done for generations.--re-writes from handouts. So I watch the in-English French and Japanese tv news services. At least they have a different agenda.

Any supposed "News" network that employs Nancy Grace and gives here a show (and sometimes uses her as a commentator) has lost the right to say they are a network dedicated to reporting news. She's as bad as anyone Fox puts on.CNN. This is news?
