Trump's been PINO (President In Name Only) for over a year.  His 'Great Wall' hasn't been built yet, the swamp he was going to drain is as deep and mucky as ever, he's been rattling sabers with a two-bit Korean peckerwood, he's endangering American exports with his 'shoot-from-the-hip' tariffs, his so-called tax cuts don't amount to diddly-squat for the ordinary American, and he's spent more time on the golf course than Tiger Woods.... and now he's once again bad-mouthing the company that is undoubtedly the biggest customer of the US Postal Service — which, BTW, is a private company which gets absolutely *NO* funding from the US Treasury.  If the USPS *IS* losing money by being Amazon's delivery service it's their problem, not the government's.

During the campaign, the Trumpster claimed that he intended to Make America Great Again.  When is he going to start?

It appears life in the Tower was not quite ideal. Brassner's apartment was hit twice by major water leaks from the apartment above his. BTW -- there is no sprinkler system in the tower.

President Donald Trump previously lobbied against a proposed bill requiring high-rise buildings, like Trump Tower, to install life-saving sprinkler systems.  A fire in his 5th Avenue building Saturday, with no sprinklers present, left one person dead and multiple firefighters injured.

Then one of New York’s most prominent real estate developers, Trump in 1999 rang city officials to argue against proposed legislation that would have required high-rise landlords to install the systems following fatal high-rise fires in Brooklyn and Manhattan.  The December 1998 blazes killed nine people, including seven firemen.

Again, if this was any other president, something like this would have dominated the news cycles for weeks. But this will be passed over as "just one more thing" and he will never be held to account for it the way anyone else would.

This isn't for real, right?  This has got to be fake.  Somebody has taken one of Trump's real twits tweets and then cut-and-pasted a dummied-up message in place of the real one, right?
Please tell me that's what's happened — please reassure me that the leader of our country has not gone so far off the rails that he would actually put his name on something like this.

And then please throw that good-for-nothing sunuvabitch out of the White House, because his tweets, policies, and statements over the past two or three years are enough to make people have to ask the above questions.

The fact that it would not instantly be recognized as a joke should tell you how far we have descended. But the tweet I posted above (which was real) was almost as bad, considering that his lobbying contributed to the lack of legislated sprinkler retrofit.

IIRC I once posted a link to a site that lets you "write your own Trump tweet"...I'll see if I can find it again. I just assumed that that's what this was.
