Yes, but Walker has demonstrated (repeatedly) an ability to attract independent voters (if he couldn't do that, he couldn't have survived politically in Wisconsin; Wisconsin ain't Alabama...)

And the ability to attract independent voters is the Number 1# quality that the GOP nominee is going to need to win the next election...

Of course we don't have to worry, because His Donaldness has assured us that not only will he get a majority of the Latino vote, he will also get a majority of the Black vote...

He's also going to get a majority of the Alien Abductor Vote, and a majority of the We're Just So Bat-shit Crazy We Can't Even See Straight Vote...

He's the only current GOP candidate who probably wouldn't be a complete disaster for the nation. That's the best I can do.

IT'S ALL JOHN McCAIN'S FAULT

Post by RayThom »

As that old chestnut goes, "In America, anyone can become president." Well, that's the problem. When McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate he wanted to prove this point. Unfortunately, it gave the likes of Trump and Carson delusions of grandeur and now our tried and true democratic process is taking the hit. Well, at least the Republican side of that process, for sure.

We need to start telling our children that NOT just anyone can be president. It takes something more than money and megalomania to become an effective national/world leader. An IQ over 70 and the ability to understand reality also helps.

I still haven t figured out why mc cain picked palin

I mean , I understand pandering but sheesh there had to be more sensible women to pick from at any bar in America.

sealed my belief that those years in the POW camp had damaged his psyche to the point where he was likely to be irrational in some situations

lost him the race

yeah, she was kinda cute, but crazy just don t warsh off
