Reagan. I know LJ was a Reagan fan but FFS. We know Reagan cut a deal with Iran to release those hostages as soon as he was inaugurated - and yes, I am sure it wasn't a crude quid pro quo but an absolute understanding. And while Biden is castigated for the 13 soldiers who died when the last helicopter left Kabul - and yes, mistakes were made but it is difficult to lay those at Biden's door - everyone on that side of politics conveniently forgets that Reagan was in charge when 240 marines were murdered in their beds in 1983 in Beirut.
