Maybe that gets back to whether students should vote where they go to school or their "permanent" home. There may be concerns about the authenticity of a school I.D. compared to other types of identification, or it does not provide the address information? Presumably the voter registration will read Joe Smith, 123 Gob Lane. If the I.D. does not have the full name and address, it might not suffice.

Mentioning addresses.
I had to renew my drivers license because i had a PO Box listed.
In and of itself I don't guess is illegal it's been my address for well over 10 years.
However I went to Wally World to purchase a shotgun for my grandson.
They said I had to have a physical address...
