From the Guardian, reporting on the rather lower than expected attendance at the Tulsa Trumpfest:
Trump was expecting huge crowds at the rally in Tulsa on 20 June, but addressed an arena estimated to only be two-thirds full. Reports suggest users of the social media platform TikTok and highly organised K-pop fanbases came together to register for thousands of free tickets to the event with no intention of showing up, driving up attendance expectations.
I love it. I have a new respect for K-pop.

The main thrust of the Guardian piece is that Trump was using Tom Petty's "I won't back down" as background music, and Petty's estate has issued a 'cease and desist' letter. Good for them.

Just saying, a reunion of the '1910 Fruit Gum Company' (a 1960s bubble-gum band) would have been able to put more butts in the seats of that arena than Trump did.

Could this be the beginning of the end for the Lyin' King?

Go back in time and look at Trump’s rallies in photographs; how many of the attendees are older, obese, and likely carrying around a few preexisting conditions?

Glad they’re smart enough to stay the fuck at home.

According to the official Tulsa County fire marshal's count, the BOK Center was only about 1/3 full. Talk about a slap in the face.
A friend of Doc's, one of only two B-29 bombers still flying.

Yup. Wikipedia says:
The BOK Center, or Bank of Oklahoma Center, is a 19,199-seat multi-purpose arena and a primary indoor sports and event venue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.
The Fire Marshal, per CNN, put the attendance at 6200 which amounts to 32.3% of capacity. I'm sure the Fire Marshal's office is full of commies.
