I announce, with no irony or subtlety or exaggeration, I am a yellow dog democrat. I have never voted for a GOP candidate, although one year I did a write in vote for George Romney's wife, and when McGovern was at the head of the ticket, I wrote in Mickey Mouse. Hmm. Perhaps this year I may even write in "Yellow Dog".

As for my post above about my problems with PC language, I go biblical. Let those who have eyes see. No irony in my observations about Semetic, North American, White Race. I am old-fashioned (perhaps pedant) and believe words should have some objective meaning. For further exposition on this topic I refer the student to that great mathematician, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson

I m a life long independent (un affiliated in DE, I got that mixed up once when I moved here, and I ended up in the Independent party... until I figured it out....

I once believed that the only thing worse than a Dem was a Repub, I have now come to believe the exact opposite.

I have voted for dems, I have voted for repubs.....,

....but oddly enough I have never voted for an independent......

I ll be happy if both parties are relegated to the ash heap of history....,

....and things are looking up in that department!!!
