“I ask no favor for my sex. All I ask of our brethren is that they take their feet off our necks.” ~ Ruth Bader Ginsburg, paraphrasing Sarah Moore Grimké
With Trump's ratings going up during the impeachment circus, I'm thinking landslide. I'm still offering to bet that Trump will win. It's $100 to your charity if he loses.
If the economy stays "strong" and unemployment "bigly low", this is going to be a very rough ride indeed.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Trump's using the same game plan as 2016. Watch his rallies. He'll have many in states that are leaning his way. None or very few in states he has wrapped up. The wildcard is a rally in a state to support a candidate for Congress that supports him. Those candidates haven't done well so far.
I expect to see him support candidates against Democrats in districts he carried in 2016.
After the Sanders debacle in Ca in 2016, I doubt Trump will campaign there. NY & MA are no never minds too.
I expect several more in WI, MI, and PA where Mayor Perduto in Pittsburgh stirred up a shit storm. Trump should get more votes in Allegheny County than in 2016 thanks to the mayor. He won't win it, but it gave him enough votes in 2016 that taken with the rural vote beat the Pittsburgh/Philadelphia/Harrisburg Democrat machine.
There's a couple of other states that came up on the radar. Follow his rallies for insight.
His internal poling in 2016 was excellent based on his targeted rallies. When the media promoted polls showed him losing he knew exactly where to concentrate his efforts. Someone on Clinton's staff must have had an inkling in 2016 because of the last ditch big name concerts they held in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
And don't forget the Grifter-in-Chief's ace in the hole -- replacing the White Walker (Pence) with Nikki Haley, who recently made her aspirations known with her outrageous Confederate flag comments.
I can't help but feel that Trumplethinskin's henchmen are grooming her for the role of a lifetime.
Stranger things.
“In a world whose absurdity appears to be so impenetrable, we simply must reach a greater degree of understanding among us, a greater sincerity.”
I dn t disagree with anything that y0u said , Darren, but I think that trump will sh0w antifa s, and the Left s true fascist faces thru rallies as well.
Yes I would not be surprised if Pence finds he needs to spend more time with his family. Nikki Haley is an obvious choice for VP: she would skew some voters who want a woman on the ticket; there are those, even among the Trumperati who are queasy about the holiness of Pence (and where else are those evangelicals going to go?); and Trump, who is mindful of his legacy, would see a Haley run in 2024 as being a continuation of his reign. He certainly would not lose any votes by replacing Pence and he would in all probability gain some.
