I think Trump is kind of like Fredo Correlleone; he has money, but people behind the scenes pull the strings and manage and run things for him, so he can go out and be the ass that he is.

Certainly not all women, but some; generally the vacuous, vain types. Just as an attractive and shapely woman can "get" men, and even wind up a trophy wife if that's what they want. Different branches do it different ways. Naval uniforms don't have "hershey bars" or whatever they're really called. It's all done on the ribbon rack, and the definition of "V" devices is different between Marines/Navy and the Air Force/Army.

Boorda had the "V" devices on his Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Neither of these are "Campaign" medals- these are individual achievement medals. The "V" device is used to denote HOW those medals were won.

The problem was the Boorda, like many of his fellows, were told by then CNO Elmo Zumwalt that they WERE authorized the "V" devices on those 2 medals. However, it was never actually entered into their service records, and on closer inspection they weren't actually authorized it. Boorda stopped wearing them when told it was inappropriate, but the problem didn't end there. Medal and ribbon regulations were constantly in flux, the definitions changed, but the main issue is that they were never entered into the service record, so they were in reality never authorized.

Before using a word like "fascist" to disparage anyone who favours tighter gun control, someone who recognizes that words have meaning, someone with a level of consciousness at least comparable to a potato, might have checked whether stricter gun control has been a characteristic of fascist regimes. He would have learned that Fascist Italy did not impose any new restrictions on gun ownership and was not particularly diligent about enforcing preexisting ones. Firearms training was provided to all boys in the Fascist youth groups. In Nazi Germany, gun controls imposed during the Weimar Republic were substantially relaxed.

Fascism is to gun control as communism is to broccoli.

And despite being too ignorant to name even a single judge in the federal courts from which Supreme Court nominees will be chosen, you have the gall to accuse any number among them of plotting what is tantamount to a coup d'etat.

There is no small irony here. Trump is the one who has spoken openly about shutting down newspapers, jailing his political opponents, and calling on his supporters to intimidate voters and to use violence to overturn an election result that goes against him.

But Hillary Clinton is called a fascist. By a guy who voted for David Duke. And you wonder why you're the object of ridicule.
