They don't seem to have managed to get the traction the UKIP has...

"The Land of St George"
Per the myth he was ethnically or culturally Greek so Greece is "The Land of St George" but then he was from Cappdocia which is in Turkey so Turkey is "The Land of St George". But if you let people in just for claiming him then you have to let in nearly all of Europe because everyone from Russia and Sweden to France and Italy have strong claims based on iconography. This sculpture from Sweden is especially good and has George killing the dragon with a sword: much manlier than the wimpy pokey-thing which allows George to stay safely at a distance. A sword means he has to move in close enough to feel the dragons breath and smell his blood.

This is Beta Gyorgis, a church dedicated to St George in Ethiopia where Christianity has flourished since 400 AD, centuries before England. St George is Ethiopia's patron saint.:

And whose flag is this with Georgy right in the middle!

This is a different St. George, sans dragon, just standing around and looking ready for anything:

"The Land of St George" is more international than the EU!

“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”
Re: Get's my vote!!
some people think they're far more clever than they actually are.

And here I had thought American political parties/campaigns were the dumbest on the planet. Now I see there is some genuine competition.
Just need to bend the arms a bit on that Cross of St. George.
Also too:

Maybe the party platform should include English as the national language, with foreign aid to the Welsh.Get's my vote!!

Oh come now... it's not just the Welsh influence....

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

The durability of the relationship between xenophobia/racism and ignorance is a continual source of wonder and some encouragement.

Yes, the symbiotic relationship between bigotry and ignorance is impossible to miss..
I've seen numerous examples of this right here on this board...
In fact I commented on one such example, not too long ago:
