I am disappointed that you elected another Republican Governor, but at the same time, I am glad you kicked Martha Coakley to the curb. She's one of 'those' prosecutors; the ones who turn a blind eye to injustice in favor of political gain, and I'm glad she is no longer your chief law enforcement officer, nor have you rewarded her with the governorship.

Yay for electing Maura Healy, the country's first openly gay Attorney General. Hopefully the stink on Martha didn't rub off to much on her.

I don't know anything about Coakley's professional abilities, so I won't comment on that. But to manage to lose both of those races in a state as heavily Democratic as Massachusetts, her skills as a political candidate must really suck wind...

Just like Scott Brown had become the first man to lose Senate elections to two different women! So you can keep nominating him too. I hear his NH property already for sale and he is carpetbagging it to Maine.

And let's be clear - Charlie Baker is the classic well educated New England republican who is socially liberal (pro choice and pro gay marriage) who has been elected in Massachusetts many times before. It's no sea change, nor any great victory for his party as he is quite the outlier nationally. He ran a decent race against a not terribly good campaigner, and he learned a lot after getting schooled by Deval Patrick four years ago. I really wanted Martha to win, but it's not like we elected Paul LePage or Rand Paul.

Plus, every other state-wide office is held by the Dems, all the Congressional seats, and 85% of the Massachusetts legislature. Good luck with that Charlie.

Nope, no video, no audio, other than the site I've posted above. And when I try to go forward clicking on links to get the "transcript" of the discussion (see all those links that say "transcript courtesy of . . ."), the last place I ended up was here (which is no transcript, just a summary):

I just listened to it myself; I don't know why you're having a problem. The part of the interview where she's talking about the fried chicken begins at about 7:15 on the audio tape.
