while I certainly sympathize with their cause, and believe that the Japanese are obvious whaling at a commercial level, the sea shepherds are irresponsible idiots.
taking multi million dollar catamarans, made of carbon fibre and fiberglass , into the southern ocean, with few true sailors aboard, is lunacy.
if they spent those millions lobbying it would have a much greater effect.
it seems that their goal is to have some of the crew members die in order to get the attention that such a thing will bring.
