How could you not vote for someone who kicks kids in the face?

But seriously, the fact that they used such an obvious accident to try and smear the man would have raised the hackles of any sensible voter.

I think it was more somebody's idea of a joke rather than a serious attempt at an attack ad. One version of it says it was "paid for by Concerned Pediatric Orthodontists". His primary opponent is a real cunt, but I think she's smart enough to recognize how this would have backfired if it had been traced back to her.

I don’t know why anyone would want to be mayor of Winnipeg, But then. I don’t know why anyone would want to live there.
With satellite TV, and our late eating habits, we usually ended up with a Winnipeg station at news time.
Murders, arson and crack houses were the daily issues.

I think it replaced shaking hands and kissing babies.

It probably appealed to the "law and order" crowd that got Katz re-elected.
As in "here's how I'll deal with the punks committing crime."

Michael Moore's mother was a hamster, and his father smelled of elderberries.

That would explain his build.

Supposedly he hates you because you aren't as liberal on taking our "draft dodgers" as you used to be.
Giving that some actual thought, how exactly does that work now since we don't have a draft?

I think what he means is that we aren't as liberal on taking your deserters as we used to be, because all of those who have been seeking asylum lately have been deserters.
Except we were never particularly keen on taking your deserters, as desertion has always been a crime here as it is in the U.S. (Draft dodgers could be admitted as any other immigrants because, having no draft, draft dodging could not be a crime here.)

Yes well apparently he thinks you ought to take them. While you're at it could you please take our prison population?

Mmmm, shades of the Mariel boat lift, when the U.S.'s Cuban policy began to be dictated by the dregs of Cuba's prisons, whom Castro had cast adrift for you to rescue.
