Absolutely FALSE and paperwork from the US State Department proves it. Yes, the $95,000 expense item was approved, but it was NOT for an overnite stay. She was only there for six hours.

I was reading an article on CNN which quoted several sources on Trump and the current state of our politics; this bit really hit me:

Time for a reality check, wrote LZ Granderson: "That restlessness in the pit of your stomach isn't there because the sky is falling" since Trump. "It's there because social media has pushed the clouds away, the sun is shining, and you're made uneasy by the clarity of who we really are and what we've always been."

This is definitely at the root of my current feelings of despair about the future; all the vitriol out there isn't a product of Trump, it's just been unleashed by him. I felt unsettled a lot of the time living in Montana, realizing I was surrounded by people whose worldview I felt was deeply ugly - and since Trump I've realized those people are everywhere.
