Out of context. She said: "if it's still undecided when I become President, I will answer your question then."

She also made clear the decision is up to the President and the Secretary of State and she isn't second-guessing them. It's a politically savvy response.

It's politically savvy because no matter what she says, she loses. And she risks being called out for criticizing the current President, whose endorsement she will eventually want (and need).

But isn't that a problem with our politics if the leading candidate won't tell us her position on a leading topic? Instead, she plays it "smart" with a wishy-washy response. If her attitude is that she will not overturn whatever the decision is by the existing administration, then we know her position. This is different than the typical nonsensical gotcha questions, like asking R candidates how they feel about bloviating billionnaire's latest, because it involves an actual hot button issue.
