Hillary doesn t seem to have widespread support here, and this is a fairly liberal forum....
maybe joe biden or john Kerry will come to the rescue after Hillary withdraws....

Kerry couldn't win against bush. Biden has to run against his own gaffes. What the democrats really need is a debat to help raise the profile of the others running. Because sanders a Anti GMO pandering really makes me question his whole persona (he's either a nut or so willing to play to his base to make me question everything else he says. And Clinton while competent and effective just makes me feel dirty.
In fact hillary's best tactic at this point is running a campaign based on the politics version of "don't hate the player hate the game"

OFFS.
1. 80/20 male/female most regular posters; no one here has self-identified as any racial minority; close to half of the liberals are Europeans or Canadians. So no, Plan B isn't any microcosm.
2. Democrats debate in Des Moines on November 14.
3. HRC isn't dropping out, no matter how hard you might wish for it.

I think she's going to run on, "You may not like or trust me, but the alternative is worse"....
It worked for Dick Nixon....

Trust isn't her problem. I would describe it more as likability. I have full confidence that she can do the job and do it well. That doesn't change the fact that I'm going to have to vote for her (more likely than not). Makes me feel dirty all over.

Trust isn't her problem.
According to the polls it's a
huge problem for her. She keeps going further and further underwater on the "Do you consider her honest and trustworthy?" question.

I think that would have more to do with the "honest" part.

But not for Kerry in 2004.

Maybe Nixon could just say it with less sincerity?
