I guess we must have had this story appear before -
it's hard to forget Arkansas Rep. Justin Harris. He and his wife gave away two girls they'd adopted to a man who went on to rape the six-year-old daughter
But this: Arkansas state senator who 'rehomed' his daughters is getting a 'courage' award at a Ted Cruz event
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
I recall that story, and found it disgusting. Adoption is not something like going to the store and then returning/reselling merchandise you think is damaged; adoption, for better or worse, makes the child one of your own. If you're not willing to do that, don't even consider adoption--the kids deserved far better than him.
A courage award? You just can't make these things up
It is and it isn't. Not quite a Cruz event as he or his campaign organized the event. But he did agree to headline said event. The latest news is these people will no longer be awarded at their event. They're still getting awards just not at this event.
So not a "cruz event". But it is an organization that Ted wants to associate himself with.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
