You know, this is bullshit. NPR totally jumped the shark this afternoon.
First up - Bill Clinton
They got into a real serious discussion because Bill made the light-hearted remark (and they didn't get it) that you could leave Hillary in a trouble spot for 30 days and when you came back, why she'd have made things better. That was a nice thing to say
So they had an analysis of whether Hillary (as President) could actually solve the Syrian crisis in 30 days! And they concluded that she could not! Idiots!
Second Up - Trump
They played his sound bite. “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”
They then proclaimed (and continued to do so in news updates) the Democrat party line that Trump was calling upon a foreign government to hack into US national security. They had some former Ambassador to Russia come on and fulminate about it. Oh Trump was mixing up the separate server story with the wikileaks one and calling on Russia to hack some more. He was obviously evil for requesting such hacking.
He requested nothing. It was a dumb joke for crying out loud. We all know that Hillary's minyuns deleted 30,000 emails and Trump was making a joke that maybe the Russians could find them
NPR utterly dull on both - and I call liars on anyone who says otherwise

I will say that you seem to be on the side of the thought police and the speech police. i hope i am wrong. freedom of thought and speech are the canaries in the coal mines of tyrants.

....jokes are allowed in a free society. the left thrives on comedians, comedians that attack others ruthlessly....

i am amazed at the dishonesty that is prevailing.
fortunately many people are actually listening to his speeches and news conferences and are realizing just how dishonest the media is. i am amazed by it.
it seems to me that Hillary, her machine, and the media are assuming everyone is stupid, apathetic or corrupt enough to swallow anything as long as they are in on the deal.
