No more Biden time
No more Biden time
Two days left until his self imposed deadline....
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: No more Biden time
There is no set "deadline." So far it's been "end of the summer," October 1, by the first debate (10/13), by the Jefferson-Jackson dinner (10/24), etc. Likely because there still is no staff or fundraising. I bet he decides by not deciding. Either way, his heart does not appear to be in in. And who can blame him.

Re: No more Biden time
Biden has been meeting with fundraising and organization people for at least the past two months; he's laid the ground work to be able to put both together on a very short timeline...
All the politicos and pundits that I read or see on the tube that support Hillary, to a man or woman, all assert that they don't think Biden will get into the race...
While virtually everyone else thinks that he will...
Funny that...

Biden in - Hillary out? Same day? Chances of?

Zero.
And bring on the competition. I welcome it (as I've already said).

Re: No more Biden time
Joe Biden hasn't yet announced his plans for a 2016 White House bid, but a new poll shows that he would enter the race as the most popular presidential candidate if he chose to toss his hat into the ring.
According to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, 40 percent of Americans have a positive impression of Biden, while 28 percent have a negative impression (+12).
That's compared to fellow Democrats Bernie Sanders (+10) and Hillary Clinton (-8), and to top-tier GOP candidates Ben Carson (+8), Carly Fiorina (+7) and Donald Trump (-33).
Biden would also out-perform Clinton in hypothetical head-to-head general election matchups against top Republican presidential hopefuls.

I FEEL CERTAIN BIDEN IS STILL A "GO"
Of course, there's still way too many variables for anyone to make any accurate prediction. With Biden being so local it's hard for me not to hear about Joe's thoughts and ideas at area community gatherings.
Providing Joe jumps into the mix to save those of us riding the fence, I feel the Democrat candidate percentages I posted last month are very realistic, especially when referencing what MGM just posted above. Biden will surely lead the pack -- and probably hold that line until convention season -- thereby securing the nomination.
There are still 405 day left til November 8th, 2016. That's a millennium for all political pundits and junkies, especially the amateur ones on this board.
The debates also include Biden if he so desires to be included.

(End of thread. Next one, please!)

RUN, JOE, RUN
There was a group of pollsters roaming about the local business district over the weekend getting voters thoughts on Biden entering the race. (Wilmington DE is equidistant to Kennett Square PA.) I told the young lady that I supported Biden, and my feelings about Warren becoming his running mate. Apparently I was not alone with this masterstroke of insight, others around me were saying the same thing.
I did mention that Hillary may be more energized now that it's known the Benghazi mess was mostly contrived by Repugs out to get her. However, that doesn't assuage my distrust of her. I've disliked her views and her demeanor since before the 2008 election and, even if she secures the nomination, I know I won't be voting for her nor her rival(s).
Coincidence or not, the following article seems to echo those poll results. I'm still holding out hope Joe's going to be my candidate of choice even though it appears that he may not be involved with the debate on Tuesday night.

God bless America.
