I Saw A Hillary Minion On Morning Joe this morning...

Post by Lord Jim »

Commit truth...

When Joe asked her, "I know you think that Hillary will win the election no matter who the Republicans nominate, but what Republicans worry you the most?"

She did not go to the go-to party line position...(which means she probably has a very short career...)

I expected the lady to give the party line and say, "all the Republicans are terrible, we can beat all of them..."

But instead, she spoke "the truth"...

She said:

"The worst thing for us would be either Kasich-Rubio or Rubio-Kasich; that would be tough for us to beat..."

But what are the odds of your people picking them?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I suspect that is why the Clinton operative felt confident enough to voice it publicly.

I agree with Sue U

As long as they're all playing "I'm the real conservative" and holding up a scorecard of idiotic positions they hew to, none of them has a chance.

To be fair, there is probably also a strategy of lowering expectations at play, so that any polling better than "dead heat/losing" can be spun as a positive. I haven't bothered to look, but I'd bet the "head-to-head" polls featuring Hillary against each potential GOP nominee show a Kasich-Rubio combo pulls the most from the broadest demographic.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

The crazy Republicans will never nominate such a reasonable ticket.
