political predictions

Post by wesw »

so..., you think that you are prescient , do ya?

well here is your chance to prove it.

this is the place to boldly predict what no man has predicted before...., if you dare.

anything that you say can, and will, be held against you.

I ll start...

....Lindsey graham will never again be elected for statewide office in South Carolina or nationally. he may be his hometown dogcatcher or something......

.....john Kerry will mull over another presidential run in the near future....

The GOP continues to rot from the inside out because it cannot admit that it's policies are wrong and have failed. It has no mechanism for change.

ok rube.

first you are obviously wrong. the tossing of Boehner, and his partner in crime, mc carthy, is a change. trump is a change. carson is a change.

Kasich is a change. the mechanism is there.

there are cries against the republican leaders from every mountain top, by republicans. so the knowledge of the republican wrongheadedness is there.

second...., that isn t a prediction, that s a statement of opinion.

I ll add prediction to humor on the list, so that it may dwell among the other things that you do not grok, things that are anathema to you.

Whoever the Democratic nominee may be will defeat not only whoever the Republican nominee may be but also any third party candidate. I have spoken.

And my God bless America.

I heard what he had to say in the "debates." He's just another never-gonna-be-president. Hell, not even Republicans are talking about him.

here s a prediction. neither trump nor carson nor Kasich have had a cross word between them.....

look for some combination of alliance. perhaps trump as sec state, as he is unsuited to the vice presidency.

trump/carson?

The GOP desperately needs to find a way to change direction on: Gay Marraige, Abortion, Immigration, and climate change. All four are losers politically and three are both morally and practically wrong. But they can't do so.

You honestly believe he's suited to be secretary of state? By what stretch of the imagination? :shrug

well RR I had of course heard of trump before, since the 80 s in fact, but I had never watched the Apprentice or paid much attention to him and I had certainly never been a fan.

I must say that I have been greatly impressed by his political savvy , his negotiating skill and his reading of people.

he is brilliant in his own way.

he is perhaps the greatest dealmaker of his generation. I say take advantage of his skills, as long as he is implementing a strong presidents policies and as long as he can agree with, and work towards, the presidents goals, he could be very effective in furthering America s interests.

Well wes, that's where we differ; I think they guy is a blowhard whose only talent is self promotion. I've seen no evidence of him being a skilled, or even a good, negotiator; and if you're going to count his performance on a game show (The Apprentice), I'd nominate Monty Hall as the greatest dealmaker of all time.
