Yeah, whatever else you want to say about him, he's a real "up by the bootstraps" kinda guy...

But before you cry too many tears for him:
assuming Trump received his million dollar loan sometime around his graduation in 1968, the loan would be worth about $6.8 million in today's dollars, according to the U.S. Department of Labor's Labor Statistics CPI Inflation Calculator.
