The boundaries exist so that they can be transgressed. If it were otherwise we would have 'forbidden' words which are never spoken because no one knows what they are.

In transgressing the boundaries the speaker is sometimes using it for shock value to get the attention of the audience and also indicate the weight and importance of the subject.

The makers of this video, including the children, reasonably believe that being called rapists and murderers, called "anchor babies" and suggesting that mass deportation is a solution to a problem is sufficiently grave an insult that the use of 'forbidden' language is justified.

I have to agree with them. They succeeded in communicating that the anti-immigrant hysteria Trump is tapping into is driven by an especially ugly form of racism.

This would be mere vulgarity only if they would not have such a compelling reason.

Maybe if 1/3 of the Republican party were calling for the deportation of everyone who looks like you this would be easier to understand?

In other words, Donald Trump's message is so insulting to Mexicans that it made it okay to make a video of Mexican children saying 'Fuck You' to him and anyone who agrees with him.

Is that how you eradicate ignorance and racism? The "I know you are but what am I?" argument isn't the most effective method, in my opinion.

Most people understand that the way to change public opinion on any issue is to try to get people to understand your point of view so they might sympathize with your cause. All this video accomplishes is to insult the people they should be reaching out to for change and encourages children to mimic the kids in the video.

I did, and learned how this silly and obnoxious video has backfired big time.

The poor kid is but a tool and will no doubt have a bright future in cutting lawns or working in fast food.

I heard that in the local Hispanic community, "Baby's First Leaf Blower" is going to be a hot Christmas item this year.
