about Trump's bragging about not losing support if he shot someone. I deleted mine.

Actually, if he did shoot someone, getting him charged with a felony and locked up until after the election wouldn't be a bad idea. Even if he didn't cause great bodily harm, he could still be charged with attempted murder.
Is it possible to get someone, say a presidential candidate, hospitalized for a psych consultation based on a threat of this nature? It's something to think about. It makes me wonder when the lunatic fringe will wake up and stop supporting one of their own.
