Only a point behind (Rubio from Trump).

Well Sue, at this point in the process, "winning" is defined by "how did you do versus media expectations?"...
By that yardstick, Marco did well, Cruz did well...
Trumpty not so much...

.
And Hillary and Bernie came out about the same as Al and George in West Palm Beach...

"Media expectations?" Really,
Jim, you're more sophisticated than that. The real question is whether he can hijack ¿Jeb?'s super-PAC in the wake of his implosion. And that's going to be some trick.

Well Sue, I understand that Jeb's Super PAC still has about 40 mil in the bank...
Would it be such a
huge problem for them to drop just
one million in
my bank account?
They wont even miss it, (it's a rounding error) and I
guarantee you I'll put it to better use...

Bush is the biggest loser. Does he even have a campaign right now? He polled worse than Carson and Rand Paul.

You can't make too much of Iowa because of its funky manner of voting, the domination by the extremes of each party, less than 1% of the country, and the general demographics of the state compared to the country. However, it is usually important to those on the bottom (part of the culling process) and those who are relying on momentum. Clearly, Rubio, Cruz and Sanders were helped by yesterday's results. Trump and Clinton were not helped, and Trump may have been harmed since he is all about momentum which gets him media, without which, he can just go back to being Mr. MoneyGasBag. Plus, as much as he helped make the turnout huge, he attracted plenty of anti-Trump votes. And Bush continues to not have much traction, and he will only get a couple of more states to get it going. Megan McArdle wryly noted that it is looking more possible that the Republicans will field a young Latino against the Dems senior citizen white person.

To be fair, that was recycled from Jimmy Carter and Jerry Ford.

As between Trump and Cruz I am sorely vexed to decide which is more loathsome.
Can't they
both be the GOP nominee?
