That all depends on how they are becoming "informed"...

Going from "uninformed" to "misinformed" ain't really an improvement...

In fact one could easily argue that it's a step in the wrong direction...

An uninformed person knows they don't know anything about the subject; a misinformed person believes they do....

oh I suspect that a lot of people are using the vast resources of the internet to educate themselves.

especially the millenials and younger ones..., the one whose education was guided away from the writings and ideas of our nation.

they can read the words of the times from the men of the times, and they can follow these lines of thinking, and their evolutions and distortions, thru our nations history up until today.

they can do all of this from their living room.

and even if they don t bother, they are smart enough to see that both parties and their established rule and the methods of their rule are dirty.

our govt is bought and sold to an un acceptable degree.

trump and sanders have got that part right.

I just hope that every citizen votes and they all have ID s.....

I don't know about you, wes, but I've been on this here Internet for at least the last twenty years (ask Lord Jim, rubato, or RayThom; they should remember my first appearances on Cafe d'Artre) and I have found that no matter what you are looking for, no matter what off-beat opinion you may hold, no matter what obviously incorrect information you still hold to be a fact, there is a place on the Internet that will support your (wacky) opinions, your (crackpot) theories, or your (racist/homophobic/misanthropic) sentiments.

It doesn't mean that you are correct; it is just finally a physical display of the old adage: if you allow an infinite number of monkeys to type at an infinite number of typewriters they will eventually recreate all the great literary works of mankind.  The problem is that they will create so much bullshit in the process, and most people are incapable of recognizing bullshit when they see it — especially if they are pre-inclined to accept the bullshit as truth.

There is more misinformation on the Internet than anyplace else.

well, I assert that the People are not as dumb as you seem to believe them to be.

and I m talking mainly about college educated young people who have been deprived of a full view of history and truth.

man, I have learned so many things here.

most of them have saddened me greatly.

people think so highly of themselves and consider many of their fellow citizens to be inferior beings.

you guys should watch the most recent episode of swamp people and the melting pot that the swamp is and the love and community that people of all shades and backgrounds exhibit.
