Well, an increase from 10 supporters to 11 is not exactly earth-shattering

That was not in the video I saw; I saw a guy get blindsided (just like another guy did at a Trump rally a week or so back) by one of Trump's supporters, who was not content with taking a cheap shot at the guy but also tried to stomp and kick at him while he was down.  I do not support the KKK, nor do I condone dragging the flag across the floor — if that is in fact what you say had happened.

But there is this pesky little proviso in the Constitution about "Freedom of Speech"; and it has been determined in numerous court cases and upheld by the SCOTUS that 'desecration' and 'disrespect' to the American flag — such as burning it, walking on it, and for all I know wiping one's tuchis on it — is considered 'protected speech or expression' under the articles of said Constitution.  Just like abortion, I don't like it; I wouldn't do it; but it's the law of the land so I must allow others their right to do so.

probably the most important post I have ever made here, I hope you listened.....

So I did watch it right through. Thank you for posting it. Because the man never once states that he personally witnessed any protestor initiating a physical confrontation. And he admits, allegedly being a police officer, that he was ready to punch several people in the face when they had not engaged in any sort of physical assault that would have justified it.
