At last! How Trump would force Mexico to pay for that wall

In a two-page memo to The Washington Post, Donald Trump outlined for the first time how he would seek to force Mexico to pay for his 1,000-mile border fence, which Trump has made a cornerstone of his presidential campaign and which has been repeatedly scoffed at by current and former Mexican leaders.
In one word — blackmail.

In the memo Trump says that, as president, he would force Mexico to pay for a border wall by threatening to cut off the flow of billions of dollars in payments that immigrants send back home to their native country, an idea that could devastate the Mexican economy and set up an unprecedented showdown between the United States and a key regional ally.
But don't take my word for it. Read it for yourself, right here.
Finished?
Yes, you read that right. By changing a rule under the anti-terrorism "Patriot Act" — it would probably have to be done through a Presidential directive, or whatever those things are that everybody says Obama is illegally using to undermine this country — he would find a way to directly interfere with the right and ability of private companies and corporations such as Western Union to conduct business while at the same time threatening to completely crash the Mexican economy. And I don't even want to think about who or what would be there to supplant the existing Mexican government — probably someone like el Chapo, the Medellin cartel, or someone like that.
But he won't do it if Mexico "contributes" X-billion dollars to pay for the wall. Sure sounds like a blackmail demand to me.
Even more confusing is that a couple paragraphs later he suggests raising the fees for visas to enter the United States, claiming that "even a small increase in visa fees would pay for the wall". But if he is going to strong-arm Mexico into paying for the wall, why would we need to raise visa fees? To pay for a second wall in case the first one doesn't hold?
Of course, this automatically leads to a logical question — why is this only revealed in a memo to a newspaper? If he thinks this is such a great goddamned idea, why hasn't he said anything about it while on the campaign trail? Answer: because this a pile of bullshit so huge that it would dwarf the Great Pyramid of Giza. He knows it; the Democrats know it; Mexico knows it; the American people know it. Hell, even an amoeba would know it.
So we finally get a look, in black and white, at the eccentric way of thinking of the megalomaniac that is Donald Trump. This is the sort of thing that needs to be publicized far and wide. I'm sure this will not change the thinking of any die-hard Trump supporters, but those who are undecided or merely leaning in his direction need to see this before they make a huge mistake and put the reins of power in the hands of Delusional Donald.
