But then pink (pussy hat) on Saturday for the march.
Hundreds of thousands in DC. Over 65,000 registered for Boston (where I will be, with Lizzie Warren and Maura Healy). 600+ sister marches across the world!
Far bigger deal than the inauguration. Who else is marching with me?

My wife and I will be marching in Chicago. (And I wear black most of the time anyway, so tomorrow will be no change for me.)

They're going to be wearing them at the marches nationwide - it's very cool, I think!
I really wanted to go to D.C. for the march, or at least Boston - but I'm not walking terribly well in recent weeks and having serious digestive system/bladder control challenges as well, so decided I'd better not risk it. I will march with the ladies in spirit as I watch on CSPAN.

Of course I meant to say that we'd be marching in Chicago on Saturday (which is *NOW* "tomorrow," but wasn't when I wrote the above post. I think I wanted to mentally skip over today, Inauguration Day, as too horrible to contemplate. )
Oh, and my daughter and her husband will be driving down from Connecticut today for tomorrow's march in DC and her best friend from college will be flying there from Minnesota!
