Definitive proof that she is the living embodiment of the 'lipstick on a pig' adage I grew up hearing. What kind of piece of work sits this way in ANY professional setting, much less the office of the boss, much less the Oval Office?! And her skanky heels are ON THE SOFA! That's MY damn sofa, bitch! Kellyanne Conway is a lying liar who lies constantly and will make up more lies when called on her lies. However, I don't give a fuck if she puts her feet on a sofa, it is unacceptable to call anyone "white trash." She's just a girl from Atco and doesn't know any better.

Pardon me if I don't care what your opinion is, I'll call her white trash if I want to - that is what I sincerely believe she is. Far as I know this is still a free speech forum?

If I were ever in YOUR house, I'd bear in mind that you don't care if I put my street shoes on the sofa, but you'd prefer I not call any Jersey girl white trash. But this is not YOUR house.

Would you call someone an "ignorant nigger"? There's no need to use dehumanizing epithets. Kellyanne Conway is an awful person but she's still a person.

And for the record, as has been shared here many times before, I grew up blue collar struggling just like Kellyanne. It's NO excuse for a lack of manners, and NO excuse for a lack of character, either.

To the degree that my use of the term 'white trash' is offensive to poor white people who live the most dignified lives they can manage despite their circumstances, mea culpa. But quite obviously I'm talking about trashy people with no manners, who disrespect other peoples things.

I have to say that on the list of things that I have been disappointed by regarding Kellyanne, putting her feet on the sofa doesn't really rank very high on that list...

As I've mentioned before, Kellyanne Conway is a person who was well respected and well liked by political types in both parties for many years...

Then she sold her soul to Donald Trump...

Now you've got news and commentary shows that (understandably) refuse to even have her on because of her utterly shameless mendacity in the service of her master...

When you can't even meet the incredibly low bar for veracity expected of a political spokesperson, that's pretty bad....

In a few short months she's completely destroyed a reputation that she spent years building...

That leaves me more saddened then angered...

Not trying to start something with you, BSG, but in that picture she looks more like a little nine-year-old girl all dressed up and out with the grown-ups for the first time.  She's been told by her parents to behave, so she is sitting there with her feet tucked underneath her trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.

However, you are correct.  She is *NOT* a nine-year-old and should know better than to put her feet up on the furniture.  In that respect it would be kinda like Trump rocking back in his chair in the Oval Office and putting his feet up on the desk.

As usual, people are always on the lookout for things to get offended about. Kneeling on a sofa in the white house has caused the internet to be all atwitter.

I assumed she was shoeless too BigRR, which seems even more inappropriate to me. Also, the lack of attention to the guests in the Oval. She looks completely disconnected to what's going on around her. But hey, maybe that explains everything

I'll bet you're right; but then none of the people in the ova office seem to be aware of each other; Trumo has his back to them and they are standing like bowling pins not looking at anything in particular.

When I'm confronted with a question of possible breach of etiquette in the Oval Office, I always think to myself, "What would Bill Clinton do?" It helps put things into perspective.

Frankly, I've been a little annoyed at the amount of press attention that this has gotten this morning on the cable news channels...

When the press focuses in on something fairly trivial like this, it plays into Trumps nasty little hands because it takes coverage time away from far more substantive issues...

Like that screwed up raid in Yemen, which doesn't seem to be getting anywhere near enough media focus...

By the way, the whole 'feet up on the Resolution desk' furor that the right wing squawked about Obama doing - talk to Ford, Carter, W. Bush, all of whom did it first and the pictures are readily available online. I've never been a fan of feet on furniture with shoes on, but at least carefully placed flat soles on a hard surface won't permanently damage a historic artifact that belongs to The People.

Heels digging into fabric will, and anyway her whole posture, legs spread & on her knees - totally skanky, low class behavior. And dressing in skirts that short is kinda gross, too - I can't name a single professional woman I've ever seen dress like that in a professional setting. She's just playing to her right wing, masturbating-at-the-Breitbart-homepage fan club. Another disgusting trashy bottle blond right wing 'professional' drone, cut from the same cloth as Coulter, Ingraham, Lahren - they have NO principles, they're just marketing themselves as a product. GROSS!

Fake news is when lies are reported as fact with the intent to mislead; you may consider this unimportant, but it's not fake news.

Well that is one definition of fake news; the other is something inconsequential being reported as news. I don't think of this as real news anymore than I would care if Trump bought a new tie or wore loafers. There's no problem with discussing it on aboard like this, but when the likes of CNN report it as news, ads Jim correctly points out, it pushes real news, like that Yemen raid, to the background.

Face it, while I can understand it pisses you off, do you really think this is real news akin to Yemen or the dismantling of obamacare?
