I have a concrete plan to get gone within the next two years - certainly in time to miss the majority of a 2nd Trump term, if that’s in the cards for this poor country.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I'm staying. Change starts from within.

I’ll still be voting - I’m not relinquishing my citizenship or anything. I’m sure I’ll still engage in public discourse on issues that concern me, too.

In what other ways are you active in your community or in politics?

I vote in every election, be it Federal, State, or Local -- special, primary, midterm, presidential. I haven't missed one election since May 1970.

I drive a few of my neighbors to the polls, and I sit in at borough council meetings when they concern my housing community. I don't, however, contribute money to any candidates or party. My limited resources work best for me when I keep my money in my own pocket.

"Guns or butter?" I like butter better -- especially in my own kitchen.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Still here, fighting the good patriotic fight on behalf of our Constitution and the rule of law against the would-be King and his Trumpanzee Royalist followers who want to make him one...
