Actually, I disagree with this. He should've said "ASSHOLE" instead of "DICK". Not even Dick Nixon would want to destroy the EPA.

Richard Nixon created the EPA, the Council on Environmental Quality, and signed the National Environmental Policy Act. It was Ronnie Rayguns, the Trumpanzee hero, who tried to dismantle the EPA (in part by appointing the odious and contemptuous Anne Gorsuch as Administrator -- yes, Neil's mother -- who resigned in disgrace after she was found in contempt of Congress).

California is phasing out all use of lead projectiles to take game by 2020. This is the culmination of a reduction which began in 2008.

That bit should be funny, but it's not. Because this is real life now.

And THAT, by the way, is why ammunition is getting scarcer and more expensive as the manufacturers have to switch over from lead shot/bullets to steel, bismuth, other similarly dense and heavy materials, or even alloys such as tungsten-iron, tungsten-tin-bismuth, and a recently-approved tungsten-bronze-iron amalgam for a B-type non-toxic shot.  Not because it's some guv'mint plot, as some of the crazier NRA and 2nd Amendment wackos insist, to slip gun control in through the back door by restricting access to ammo rather than the guns themselves.

Incidentally, fishermen have also been facing similar restrictions on the use of lead for sinkers and other fishing tackle, and there have been non-toxic alternatives on the market for something like two or three decades now.
