Can hardly stand the excitement of waiting for the twat to tweet:
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have blamed Saudi Arabia for the first terrorist attack claimed by Islamic State in their country, setting the stage for spiralling tensions between the two rivals at a critical moment in the region.

At least 12 people were killed and dozens more injured in Tehran on Wednesday when gunmen and suicide bombers attacked the Iranian parliament and the mausoleum of the revolutionary founder of the Islamic Republic.

Isis claimed responsibility for the attacks, publishing a brief video that purported to show the assailants inside the parliament.

The hardline Revolutionary Guards blamed Riyadh for the attack, in a move that could further raise the stakes in a regional tussle that has already led to major diplomatic upheaval among the Gulf monarchies in recent days and the isolation of Qatar over, in part, its perceived closeness to Iran.

“This terrorist action, coming one week after the meeting of the president of the United States with the leader of the one of the region’s reactionary governments [Saudi Arabia] … shows they are involved in this savage action,” the IRGC said in a statement.

The Iranian president, Hassan Rouhani, said the attacks would make the country more united. “Today’s terrorist attacks in Tehran will make the Islamic Republic of Iran more determined in the fight against regional terrorism, extremism and violence,” he said in a statement published on the ISNA news agency. “We will prove once again that we will crush the enemies’ plots with more unity and more strength.”

Now that was so unexpected!!!!

President Donald Trump in a statement suggested that Iran bears some culpability for attacks in its capital.

Trump tweeted that “states that sponsor terrorism risk falling victim to the evil they promote.” He also said the US was grieving and praying for the victims of the attacks.

Zarif tweeted: “The Iranian people reject such U.S. claims.”

After 9/11 both the leaders and population of Iran denounced the attacks and held candlelight vigils for the victims — without blaming the U.S. for inciting the terrorists. (OTOH, Christianist preachers like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson opined that the attacks were God's punishment for our nation's sins...)

Exactly. :ok The Twat with the Tweet is so predictable. When the only message should be one of condolence, only he could leap to the chicken/roost message. It was all so predictably Dumbald. What else could one expect after blaming the Mayor of London?

He's a disgrace.

[I think Falwell and Robertson are, also]

Notice I called them "Christianist" (analogous to "Islamist") rather than Christian (analogous to Muslim or Islamic). The term "Christianist" might be also be an appropriate label for our pResident — and many of his followers.

Iran has been relatively free from terrorist attacks because, because, because they are a totalitarian state and totalitarian states can do that ... and ... they are predominately Shiia which makes it difficult for Sunni terrorists to infiltrate.

But as to the former, if you are too frightened of the odd criminal terrorist act you can get rid of most of them by abandoning a few civil rights.
