Two Trumpanzee "Defenses" I'm REALLY Sick Of Hearing...

1. "He's not a typical politician"

2."He was joking"...

Re number one:

The "he's not a typical politician" line is never used by Trump apologists to offer praise to Il Boobce for doing or saying something that in a positive way distinguishes him from a "typical politician"...

It is invariably used to try to excuse some appalling statement or action that no "typical politician" would ever dream of saying or doing, because a "typical politician" would have too much sense of decency or even decorum to ever say or engage in it....

"Well yes, he did drop his pants and take crap on the Prime Minister of Luxembourg's shoes, but you have to understand, he's not a typical politician"

Donald Trump has achieved something that would heretofore have been considered impossible...

He makes the "typical politician" look like a paragon of civic virtue, in comparison to himself...

Every odious thing people have never liked about "typical politicians" Trump has managed to excel at, at a level never achieved by any "typical politician" in the whole of American history...

He lies more than any "typical politician"; he is more vulgar, cynical, dishonest, vain, pocket-lining, and venal than any "typical politician" ...

He makes "typical politicians" look like a bunch of choir boys...(and choir girls)

Re #2:

Earth to Trumpanzee minions:

"He was joking" ain't really a defense...

A President Of The United States "joking" about having police abuse suspects, or having his political opponent arrested, or having his supporters beat-up protestors is not remotely acceptable...

I suppose it is marginally less vile than a President Of The United States who is "serious" about having police abuse suspects, or having his political opponent arrested, or having his supporters beat-up protestors, but "joking" doesn't move those kinds of disgusting and outrageous comments into the "acceptable" range...

If those are Trump's idea of "jokes" then he really needs to get himself a better gag writer...

He was clearly "only joking" when he swore to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States", but that doesn't make it "okay"...
