First they want to build a taxic waste dump questionably close to Lake Huron and now they come out in favor of Line 5. :shrug

Hell even a lot of state republicans are wary of this thing.

I have long since given up trying to figure out what is going on in the heads of those running our provincial government. I officially gave up on the provincial Liberal Party last year when they refused to grant the City of Toronto the authority to impose modest tolls on two municipally owned and maintained highways that are used mainly by nonresidents who contribute zero to their upkeep. Meanwhile local transit is starved for funding and those tolls would have gone a long way towards financing a major expansion. This government's environmentalist and mass transit cred is completely shot, and neither of the other two major parties are any better.

We have a provincial election in the spring and for the first time in my life I have absolutely no clue who to vote for, all three main provincial parties having demonstrated themselves to be incompetent and morally bankrupt.

I'm surprised no one jumped on "taxic"

I thought you meant it.

Taxic - of or relating to taxis

Taxis - reflex translational or orientational movement by a freely motile and usually simple organism in relation to a source of stimulation (such as a light or a temperature or chemical gradient)
