For all of my fan who have been following me all these years it's well known I live in subsidized (affordable) housing. My development in Kennett Square was funded in part by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency which, in turn derives funding from DHS and HUD.

On Wednesday my Republican US Congressman Patrick Meehan and his entourage of fact finders are scheduled to meet with the residents in our community room to praise the efforts of these agencies and then inspect two of the units. A second floor, three bedroom unit and a ground level, two bedroom, handi-tarded unit. I volunteered to host the latter.

Although Pat (a near-neighbor from my old Drexel Hill residence) and I have never met in person, we have shared emails, most recently voicing my disdain for his sickening loyalty to our feckless leader, Lord Dampnut. However, and to his credit, he has slowly started to "grow a pair" and has cautiously been removing his lips from Drumpf's flabby ass.

OK... in an effort to appear like an erudite and informed individual, what questions -- other than my personal housing concerns and a few choice words about my president -- should I be asking? And if he pivots should I draw him back to the original question? Thanks.

News at eleven.

Perhaps ask him what he thinks of the directions HUD has recently drifted to and what his view of Carson is?

Ask him some kind of question about the basic decision tree he uses on a vote--how does he balance what the polls say his electors want and what he personally thinks is best. How does he balance small bad favors to other congress critters for good favors they will owe him in the future. How does he vote on a bill he has not read and neither has any of his staff?

And a big personal thank you for cultivating the relationships that would get you into this oportunity.

Ask him if he supports slashing Medicaid by turning it into an underfunded bock-grant program and if he supports Paul Ryan's plan to turn Medicare into a voucher system. Ask him why America is the only industrialized democracy in the world that doesn't provide universal healthcare to its citizens. Ask him why it is that we "can't afford" it when everyone else in the world can. Tell him you think all Americans should have a right to adequate healthcare, and securing that right should come as a priority before building Trump's dumbass wall or cutting taxes for the rich or going to war with North Korea or paying for Trump's weekend golf excursions to his own goddamn properties.

Show him the most current 'Name That Movie' quote and see if he can give you the correct answer.

I had a great time at this meeting with Meehan. And best yet, I was the oldest person in the room so no one would dare tell me to shut up. I did caution him about believing too much of Drumpf's and Carson's nonsense. He then pivoted to highlight some accomplishments but his expressions and mannerisms indicated that he wanted to take a more aggressive/positive stance on HUD funding issues. He also indicated he needed to break from Drumpf's ACA and border wall craziness. That makes sense, my community is 75% under served, Hispanics. A good time was had by all. Best of all, I left with a box of pastries, cookies, and juice that remained after all the festivities.

The meeting was being taped by our local ABC station -- 6ABC/WPVI. There may be snippets posted online at 6ABC.com. If so, I'm the guy in the black polo shirt next to Pat in almost all shots.

To paraphrase Navin R. Johnson about my experience: "I'm somebody now! Millions of people will look at this video today! This is the kind of spontaneous publicity - your face on the screen - that makes people. I'm on TV! Things are going to start happening to me now." I want to thank all the little people who helped make it possible.

Yes, dales, I think I have. Gosh, what a great time I had. I wish the whole family could've been here with me. Maybe some other time as I intend to do this a lot. Every chance I get. I think next week I'll be able to send more money as I may have extra work. My friend Patty has promised me a blow job.
