I never cared for him; but being fired by Trump is a badge of honor that deserves some respect, however grudgingly.

I've never been a Bolton fan either, but apparently he has helped move Trump away from some of his worst decisions (like abandoning our low foot print highly successful military operations in Syria, and this fiasco Taliban meeting...he's also been one counseling against moving too fast with North Korea...)

Trump just doesn't want anyone around him who is going to do anything other than validate and praise his policy choices no matter how ignorant or hare-brained they may be...

Needless to say having a President who only wants his own misconceptions repeated back to him represents an enormous danger to the country.

While I agree re N Korea, I really do want to see us out of Syria (again, we are there without any end or even achievable objective) and think we will have to deal with the Taliban to get a more palatable exit from Afghainistan. And I think Bolton has the idea of just keeping the fighting going to show we will fight nayone and everyone as long as necessary.

I'll admit I liked Michael's brother, Officer Joe Bolton, who hosted the 3 Stooges hour in NYC in the 60s (and sometime after from what I recall. He always made a lot more sense.

Bolton FC very nearly suffered the same fate and are not yet out of the woods. No wonder Meade's Bolton fans look disconsolate.

When asked about what personality traits the first daughter inherited from her parents, Ivanka Trump said she learned her business savvy from her mother and her “moral compass” from her father, according to Politico.

The event was organized by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and featured 120 top-dollar donors. According to Politico, the fundraiser is part of the campaign’s coordinated effort to help donors feel like they are “part of the show,” in the publication’s words.
