I haven't seen anything about this being covered by any reputable news source...(including those that have no love for Trump...)

It looks like a lot of supposition and conjecture with a dash of paranoia to me...

And I can't find anything to back up the claim that Justin Kennedy has been indicted in the EU, as John Califra (whoever the hell that is; when I Google that name I come up with a guy who composes music for documentaries...) claims...

I've seen it reported on in the NY Times and on the CNN website, but it is raised as more speculation than fact. I wouldn't put any underhanded deeds beyond Trump, but I'd like to think that Kennedy has more integrity than that. That being said, many men, especially old men, would do a lot to protect their children, so it is not beyond the realm of possibility. I guess the only facts we do know is that Deutsch Bank made the loans to Trump, and that the same bank was accused in the EU of laundering Russian money; I am not sure of what the ties are to the Mueller investigation, but that would hardly be surprising. Add to it that anything coming to the SC which could involve his son would almost certainly require Kennedy to recuse himself, and such a recusal could result in a divided court which would not overturn a lower court's order (and we've seen that the lower courts are a lot more willing to take the administration on. Does this equal the skullduggery mentioned? Not necessarily, but in a country where Trump can be elected president, nothing would shock me.

According to the Snopes item LJ linked, Kennedy's son left Deutsche Bank in 2009, long before any questionable loans to Trump et al. Any connection is a far fetched fantasy.

That's not to say that any Kennedy Jr / Trump connection from when he did work there was entirely free from any potential embarrassment. But he does not appear to have had any involvement in Deutsche Bank's current woes.

I guess it depends how far back those woes go, but it is a point well taken. Personally, I think that there doesn't appear to be very much to support this evil conspiracy theory, but I think it is plausible (even if unlikely).

that being said, I hope the dems don't spend a lot of time pushing for an investigation of it, lest they end up with more egg on their faces.

To expand on what Lord Jim said previously, Joe Manchin isn't assured of reelection. He's in trouble. Voting against Trump's SCOTUS pick would be risky. The Democrats have to figure out how to make up for his vote.
