That will make Jim's day. Here is a better link.
Re: Just for Lord Jim
Speaking of Lord Jim and things he would like, I definitely think he should have one of these.
Re: Just for Lord Jim
Gee, those hologram images aren't at all creepy...
I believe that these days the best way that I (or anyone else who truly holds him in high esteem) can most meaningfully honor the memory, principles, and legacy of Ronald Reagan is through implacable and unyielding opposition to Donald Trump...

Re: Just for Lord Jim
The weirdest thing about the hologram is that it doesn’t look like Reagan.

Yes it reminds me of Frank Langella in Frost/Nixon - made up to resemble Nixon superficially but not a serious attempt to imitate him. If I had not known that this was supposed to be a Reagan hologram, I don't think I would have guessed it.Joe Guy wrote:The weirdest thing about the hologram is that it doesn’t look like Reagan.
Re: Just for Lord Jim
It looks like maybe a low-rent Reagan impersonator...
Somebody who might get $100 to show up playing Reagan at private parties...
Shame on the management of the Reagan Library for signing off on this tacky schlock being displayed...
Nancy would never have permitted it...

I think it looks like Rick Stein.

My very first visit to Disneyland in 1978, I was utterly fascinated by the animatronic Lincoln in the Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln exhibit on Main Street, USA. That 40 year old technology was more impressive than this.

It's all the rage now, being hologrammed. Let's hope they don't cock it up for this person, unlike Regan, she's important...
A hologram of Amy Winehouse will tour the world next year.
The hologram, which will use her original voice recordings, will be projected onto a stage in front of a live band, say its creators.
The singer's dad Mitch is on board, saying: "Our daughter's music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue."
Amy Winehouse died in 2011 aged 27 after drinking too much alcohol.

I, for one, would like that. I kind of miss that subtle, personal shout-out she used to give me at all her performances.I'd rather be at home with a Ray
