People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Excellent interview of President Macron on Fareed Zakaria’s GPS this past Sunday on CNN. Macron seems to suggest that the grounding of Marine One was a decision of Paris aviation regulators, and not a choice of the Secret Service. That puts a different spin on things . . . but even if true, there is no good reason he couldn’t have travelled overland, even joining Macron or Merkel in their already planned convoys.
Whatever excuse he had for Armistice Day, there was no plausible excuse for failing to observe Veterans Day at Arlington. Basically Trump’s primary statement about troops this week was that their ballots don’t deserve counting.

Jimmy Carter proved the Marines could not fly a helicopter in a sand storm. Now POTUS has established the marines cannot fly in the rain. Afterall, it was years ago that Jim Wright was doing that warrior stuff. Times have changed. I suppose POTUS did not go to Arlington Monday because of possible sun glare.
