This is a very curious pose by Mr Pence. I have to wonder whether Mrs. Merkel made some outlandish suggestion to him and he is walking away to protect his reputation. Maybe a frame or two prior to this she goosed him with that right hand of hers.

Is it possible Merkel was visiting the Madame Tussauds Hall of Vice-Presidents in D.C.?

I'm not opposed to poses, but this isn't one. It appears to me as though they are BOTH walking to be centered in front of their country's flags. This picture was about two frames early. Nothing to see here. Please move along.
