Probably the quickest way to figure out if what was said there was "wickedly clever" would be to consider the source...

The line is actually "Je suis Charlie Hedbo" ("I am Charlie Hedbo") and was the meme-worthy statement of solidarity for the journalists for the French daily by that name that were massacred in January 2015 by self-described members of Al Qaeda.
