Only a pettish fool would deepen and make more bitter the divisions in the country by moving military bases to places with the lowest levels of education, fewest good universities, worst health, highest levels of smoking &c.

The PEI popular vote was split almost 37-31-31 between the conservatives, the liberals and the greens. In other words, almost two thirds voted liberal or green which are probably much more closely allied than either with the conservative bloc.
