We Build the Wall

Who does this guy sound like? You get 3 guesses . . .The man who raised more than $20 million on GoFundMe promising to pay for portions of President Trump's proposed border wall is defending plans to build it himself.
"WALL UPDATE: there's no update because we are remaining silent for a very good reason. You all will have the best present very soon," Brian Kolfage, an Air Force veteran, wrote on Facebook on Saturday.
"When I guaranteed we'd build the wall I meant it, and we are working with many congressmen and senators to help us mitigate these issues from the left wing attack groups! We are in the homestretch and it's on a need to know basis. We have been talking with Fox News and prime time shows to break the news for you, you're going to see it very soon! And it's going to be GLORIOUS!"
Kolfage launched the fundraiser in December, at the height of the standoff between Trump and congressional Democrats over funding for a border wall.
Kolfage also said he had founded a nonprofit corporation in Florida named We Build the Wall, Inc. to receive the GoFundMe contributions.
In January, he pledged to refund "every single penny" of the money raised in the GoFundMe campaign if it didn't meet its original goal of $1 billion.
Since then, he has continued to post updates on the GoFundMe page with news about immigration.
Kolfage's $22 million would be a drop in the bucket for the administration's projected costs, expected to run to multiple billions of dollars.
In a March interview with American Family Radio, Kolfage said his project was going to "start breaking ground" on a wall April. He told The New York Times in January that groundbreaking would begin within "weeks."
This Friday, the Daily Beast reported that there's "no evidence that any construction has started."
Kolfage slammed the article on his We Build the Wall and personal Facebook pages, but did not provide details on the project itself.
"Omg this is PERFECT timing by the liberal rag news site," Kolfage wrote. "They are about to look more stupid than @hillaryclinton on election night 2016! I guaranteed we would build the wall... and I'll leave it at that!"
There are several news stories discussing his numerous private flights and a yacht he just bought, too. (Of course that’s fake news.) The Hill has a story that discusses various claims he made about giving money to military hospitals, and how they’ve indicated they have no record of contributions from him.
Really, is there anything stupider than a Trump Wall supporter? Morons! Kiss your donations goodbye, they’re now the property of a triple-amputee Purple Heart recipient who is also, apparently, a scumbag.
