There's Always a Tweet

Post by Econoline »

If someone had started this thread a year and a half ago, by now it might have been one of the longest threads on the board. Better late than never: this can serve as a home for all those historically inconvenient old Twump Tweets that people unearth pretty much whenever Trump does or says anything.

Since he blamed the teleprompter for his statement about the 1775 air war, I'll start it off with these two examples:

Of course, this one should have started the thread 20 months ago:

For once I agree with Trump! Any system which gets him to the position of President is well and truly fucked

Absolutely agree with Gob and Trump. (Now there's a sentence I never thought I'd write.)

I remember in 2000 how they were speculating on Fox about the prospect of Gore losing the popular vote but winning the EC: at one point a week or two prior to the election that was a real possibility. Fox's bimbos (of both sexes) were of course horrified by this possibility but expected Gore to have absolutely no sense of guilt about taking on the office under such circumstances.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
