I didn't think my opinion of you could get much lower, but with that statement you have reached rock bottom and are starting to sink a shaft.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I remember, back in the day, when all we liberals would do was run lib off the road. We didn't in those far-off, gauzy, halcyon days, have to seduce his wife/girlfriend because Uncle Nikita hadn't yet issued the order. How innocent life was . . .
(Lib, last October:) I remember when a liberal ran me off the road for wearing my uniform.

Here's the aftermath of that fateful day when lib was ran of the road by liberals while wearing his uniform. He was so happy that his vehicle was left mostly undamaged.

Meanwhile, Mrs. lib was at home with her liberal next door neighbor, licking his "dilly bar."

He doesn’t look me and that vehicle doesn't look like my motorcycle.

How do I know he was liberal? I had done nothing to provoke him and in those days conservatives supported the military and liberals hated service men and called them baby burners. Not all liberals but enough them to noticed, perhaps most.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

Sometime after the Vietnam War I read a book title The Survivors. It was an account of the POWs that retuned from Vietnam. I remember two things from that book. The POWs reported that their interrogators knew things about their families back home that only someone in the states could have known. Someone in the US was feeding the communist information and doubt it was conservatives.

Couldn't possibly be that they were carrying letters that were confiscated or their captors heard them talking among themselves, or... The most logical conclusion was that the North Vietnamese just happened to have informants in the home towns of their prisoners.

And the second thing would be....?

Why lib, I'm surprised at you taking the "blame society" position...

How long have you been a liberal?

As a genuine conservative (unlike the faux variety of which there seems to be so much nowadays) I, on the other hand, am a great believer in personal responsibility...

So, when one engages in shameless serial philandering (as Donald Trump has done) I don't blame the "culture"...

I put the blame squarely on the shameless serial philanderer...
Jim I respect you enough that I will always try to answer your questions, but you have to understand that I am so busy sometime that I have no time for anything but work. When do I plan on retiring? I don’t plan on retiring; my dream is to die at work. Perhaps a good way to die would be just after I have installed a sub component and brought the unit back online so that I don’t I inconvenience my team members.

No Jim, I am not a liberal nor do I blame society for an individual’s failing. I am closer to a conservative than a liberal but I am not a conservative. They would consider some of my socialist solutions communist. And I did not say it was the fault of the culture I said the liberal culture does not help. For example, in my opinion pornography is overall negative for society, however legalized prostitution may have some benefit. Individuals are responsible for their actions; being poor is no excuse for stealing.

I agree, Scooter.  An excellent song-and-tap-dance routine, but so far as answering the question, he never came even close.

These questions
Lord Jim wrote:Lib, I'm curious about something...

If you cheated on your wife, and she found out about it, and you told her that you did it because you live in a "liberal culture that considers one a fool and a loser if one doesn’t fuck around"...

What do you think her reaction would be?

I can tell you that in my case, I am reasonably certain that my wife would not be overly sympathetic to that explanation...

To say the least... :?

ETA:

One more question lib...

If you think that's an acceptable excuse, then why do you keep slamming that other poor victim of the "liberal culture", Bill Clinton? Why don't you cut him the same slack for his serial philandering that you're willing to extend to Trump? Why do you want to hold him personally accountable, but not President Grab-em-by-the-pussy?

(For the record, I don't cut either of them any slack...)
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

My wife’s reaction to cheating on her would not be pretty. I do not slam Bill Clinton I bring him up to point out to liberals their hypocrisy. The way it worked out for Bill Clinton changed things. A president can now screw interns in the oval office and it is no one's business but his, his wife and the intern. Bill Clinton grabbed women too. Also presidents can’t be impeached for lying even for lying under oath unless you believe in double standards, I don’t.

Can't be impeached? He was impeached, it's a fact that presidents can, indeed, be impeached for lying and obstruction of justice.

As for the statement " A president can now screw interns in the oval office and it is no one's business but his, his wife and the intern", sure some have said that (although, FWIW, he was not impeached for the sexual acts, even the republicans said that), but certainly not all "liberals" did (nor were all who said it "liberals. Next you're going to tell me the man who cut taxes and signed the welfare reform act before the election was a "liberal". Come on, he was a democrat, but he was hardly a liberal, nor were his policies--at best he was a centrist.

You want him to try harder at thinking less of you? You believe you are worthy of an even lower opinion of yourself than he now holds?
