I found most of the witnesses to be quite impressive, but my personal four standouts would be Ambassador Taylor, Ambassador Yovanovitch, Lt. Col. Vindman, and of course Dr. Hill (she was really a breath of fresh air; completely deconstructing the Russian disinformation being spread by the GOP committee quislings...I understand they could be seen in the hall after the hearing trying to re-attach their asses that she handed to them...)

Sondland wasn't one of my favorites, but he may have been the most important in terms of putting Trump squarely at the center of the bribery conspiracy scheme...

There has been some talk about Dr. Hill as a Secretary Of State...

I think she'd make an outstanding SOS, and could serve quite ably in that role for either a Democratic or Republican President...(a real Republican President of course, one who cares about national security...not the piece of shit faux Republican President currently squatting in the White House)

This post actually shows that wes is not completely insane...

He has at least enough grasp of reality left to have realized the extent to which Dr. Hill had opened up a giant-sized can of Whup Ass on the Trump dissemblers on the Intel Committee, and thus he was taking delight in the fact that some of the broadcast networks had discontinued their coverage...(shame on them, BTW)

Were he truly totally nuts, he would have thought that the quislings were tearing her apart, and he would have been complaining about the networks dropping their coverage as being some sort of conspiracy to prevent the public from seeing the brilliant way Fearful Leader's champions were demolishing Dr. Hill and her testimony... ;)

This just in: witnesses Reginald FitzUrse, Hugh de Morville, William de Tracy and Richard le Breton could not testify that they heard Henry II order them to kill Thomas Becket. Three provided depositions stating that Henry II said; ""What miserable drones and traitors have I nourished and brought up in my household, who let their lord be treated with such shameful contempt by a low-born cleric?". One of the men asserted that he overheard Henry say, "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" Keeper of the Stool, Rudolphus de Giuliani pointed out that if those four knights interpreted the king's words (incorrectly) to mean that Becket should be killed, that was "their mistake".
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Why do I have the feeling that this is going to go nowhere in the senate?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

After the House impeaches our Grifter-in-Chief it's on to a trial in the Senate.
Recently our porn star president stated on Fox News that he embraces the idea of the matter moving to a trial in the Senate after the House votes to impeach him. “Frankly, I want a trial,” he said during the Fox and Friends morning show.
I feel we all want to hear the lying liar's gripping oral testimony but I seriously doubt this will happen. He can't open his mouth without lying unless, of course, it's to down a bucket of KFC. I assume the Senate will shut down any further proceedings almost immediately as a matter of national security, or other such nonsense.

Let's collectively pray to our Lord Jesus Christ for some serious CVT intervention. And if that doesn't work we collectively vote the asshole out of office on November 3rd. I like the former option better, however.

Why stop there?  I'll beseech anyone — Jehovah, Buddha, Allah, Zeus, Ra, Baal, Blind Io, and even the Flying Spaghetti Monster — if it will make a difference!

CVT, cerebral venous thrombosis, is a blood clot in the brain that most often afflicts young adults, women of childbearing age, and children.

I think you meant CVA, cerebrovascular accident, which is the common medical parlance for typical stroke occurring most generally in older adults.

Of course within minutes of Trump croaking, the conspiracy theories about how members of the fiendish "deep state" actually murdered him and made it look like natural causes will be all over the interwebs...

And of course the brain-dead among his followers will believe it no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary...

That lot has already amply demonstrated that they are completely impervious to factual evidence...

But that's okay; a dead Trump no longer in the Presidency threatening our Constitutional system and the rule of law, is well worth having to deal with wackadoodle conspiracy theories about his demise...

I can see it now.
Trump dies.  His minions trot out the conspiracy theory as outlined by LJ above, insisting that someone "done him in" and demanding the culprit.
Cue that old 1960 Kirk Douglas movie.....

CVT/CVA? Six of one, half dozen of the other. I'll stick with my original prayer wishes that I've already sent along to the Lord. Anything stroke, or near stroke related is fine, however.

DVT? Lord Jim, I hope this bit of levity hasn't hit too close to home.

In retrospect, I have always looked to humor when talking about all my health crises.

I hope to die with a smile on my face -- a long, long, time from now.
